چکیده
luteal hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an acute, subacute, or chronic infection that affects the sudoriparous, apocrine, eccrine, or pilosebaceous apparatus of the affected area. Although its pathophysiology is poorly understood, it is generally believed that obstruction of the apocrine pores results in glandular dilatation and bacterial superinfection, with subsequent gland rupture disseminating the infection throughout the subcutaneous tissue plane. Consequently, HS is associated with chronic painful abscesses, multiple J Soc Colon Rectal Surgeon (Taiwan) March 2007
